Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how SEDEM handles delivery for local and international orders.
1. Order Processing
SEDEM pieces are made to order. Production and preparation times vary depending on the design, customization, fabric availability, workload, and customer requirements.
Once your order is ready and full payment has been received, we will arrange delivery or handover.
2. Local UAE Orders
For local UAE orders:
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm the order.
- The remaining balance must be paid before delivery.
- Delivery charges are paid by the customer unless otherwise stated.
- Delivery will be arranged after the order is completed and full payment is received.
3. International Orders
For international orders:
- Full payment, including delivery charges, is required upon confirmation.
- International delivery times depend on the destination country, courier service, customs clearance, and local delivery conditions.
- Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges, or any fees required by the destination country.
- Modifications are generally not available for international orders.
4. Delivery Fees
Delivery fees depend on the customer’s location, courier provider, and order details. The delivery cost will be confirmed before dispatch.
For modifications, the customer is responsible for the full delivery cost unless SEDEM confirms otherwise in writing.
5. Delivery Time
Delivery time starts after the item is completed, approved for dispatch, and full payment has been received.
Production time is separate from courier delivery time.
Modification requests may take between one to four weeks.
6. Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing correct delivery details. SEDEM is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or extra delivery charges caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
7. Failed Delivery or Customer Unavailability
If the courier cannot deliver the order because the customer is unavailable, refuses delivery, or provides incorrect details, the customer may be responsible for any additional delivery or return charges.
8. Damaged or Missing Packages
If your order arrives damaged or appears to be missing, please contact SEDEM within 48 hours of receiving the package and provide photos, videos, and order details so we can investigate.
